How do I get my GED so that I can join the Marines?

How do I get my GED so that I can join the Marines?
As of right now I'm being home schooled by an SOS program. I'm getting sick and tired of using this stupid program that only tries to give you Information through the eyes of a Christian. I want to join the Marines when I turn 18, but this program is going to take longer and I'm failing everything because I just am not trying. I'm 16 years old but I was expelled from the Wake County School System over something stupid. I was actually doing straight A work, but then I got in trouble. How do I get my GED at the age of 16 in the Raleigh area of North Carolina. Also, does the Marine Corps accept GED applicants. I want to be apart of an M1 Abrams crew.

If you really serious about wanting to go in the Marines, why don't you talk to your parents about moving to another school district. Maybe they have a friend or a relative that will let you stay with them during the week so you can go to school in that District and then you wont have to do a GED Furthermore, how can you be Expelled from the Entire "School System" Every child under the age of 18 has a right to attend a free school of their parents choice in the district where they live. SO you could not have been expelled form the "Entire School System" just expelled from "That School" unless you done something really really serious like burned down the school or something.

So, you were tired of the Wake county schools and made the stupid choice to get expelled (if you were doing something that got you expelled, it was a choice you made!). Now you are tired of the SOS program. How long do you think it would take you to become tired of the Marines? If you get "expelled" from there, the consequences are greater. You really should try to work things out with Wake County to get back or try to finish your SOS courses sooner. You will regret just getting your GED.
