What are tracks in education in North Carolina?

What are tracks in education in North Carolina?
I'm looking to relocate to North Carolina to teach. I am looking at a list of jobs available at Wake County Schools and many of them say something about tracks. An example would be: Third Grade, Track 1. What does this mean?

In Utah they have tracks in elementary school, I am not sure if it is the same in NC but it refered to the times the kids went to school, meaning when they had their breaks each track had a different scheduled break.
