Does a 18yr old have to serve jury duty even if they are still in High School in NC Wake County area?
If a person is 18 years old, and NC law said you have to be 18 or older to serve jury duty, does that mean they still have to serve even if they are in High School?..... Meaning, Does someone have to serve jury duty if they are still in High School in NC's Wake County Area?

If you are in school,you can be excused. They will probably put you back on the list to serve when school is not in session.

I always ignored jury duty until I got a class D felony, over something different of course. Then I sent them a short letter letting them know to stop bothering me because I have a felony.

If you got a jury duty letter, you could most likely ask to be excused. It shouldn't be that hard.
