will i fail again?? missed a lot of school?
ok i have missed 43 days of school this year and we have a court date and all. I failed last year because of 35 absents i live in wake county NC i would really like to know if they would hold me back again i cant get this off my back and im pretty worried please let me know what will happen.

They won't fail you as long as your grades are where they should be, and you're absences are excused.

In my school, if you miss 10% or more of the school days, you are held back.

I had the same thing happen to me, when I went to court they offered alternatives. I ended up taking college courses to double my credits and get me back on track as well as attending alternative school and doing home study (the college credits also count toward future college study). I had A LOT more days missed than you. Generally they really want you to be in school and become a successful, productive member of society, if they don't offer you some of these or other alternatives you can suggest them on your behalf. Just be sure to be respectful and put forth that you want to try and amend past behavior and are willing to do whatever necessary to do so. Good luck.
